There are some rules and a law when dealing with electronic devices. This guide is intended to give customers who wants their establishment or home be installed with a security camera.

Camera Location
The field of view is essential aspect to get the best picture of the area being protected. Entry points and critical external area need be considered. The height of the camera has to be carefully taken into account.

Wired or Wireless
Surveillance camera are not DIY kits that you just stick-and-dry, there are building codes necessary for safety. The installer will give the options based on the budget, either it be digital or analog.

Camera Connection
The rules state that you cannot just lay the wires on anything or scatter signal anywhere. There are the calbe trays, the mounting rack, etc.

Mounting and Installing Cameras
The recommended manufacturer camera accessories should be used in the installation.

Switching the Power
Security camera are powered differently and there are some advantages and disadvantages on this kind of set up.

Commissioning
The real process is not just to show the customer that all cameras are working but technical process needs to be perform to make sure it comply to safety and protection.

I have a presentation to electronics engineering students in Iligan Institute of Technology – Mindanao State University, the title “ Fire Detection and Alarm System” or FDAS. Safety is a common word we hear in industries but some of the world seems to ignore this and the obvious reason was that the city enforcement of laws are weak. The goal was to spread the awareness on RA9292, the electronics engineering law inclusion to the National Building Code which is crucial to protect building occupants from harm and prevent damage to property. Technnovation 2016

I was invited to be a judge for three students projects namely; a Solar-powered Hybrid Vending Machine, Smart Switch, and an Improved Mechanized Ice Cream mixer done by graduating electrical engineering students who participate on Iligan Institute of Technology, Mindanao State University – Innovation Convergence last August 30-31, 2016. The title of the event was 2016 Technnovation with the theme, “Advancing Technopreneurship and Innovation in Mindanao”. In parallel with other session they have these: Cluster 1 Resilient Structures, Disaster Risk Reduction and Management and Environment Cluster 2 Energy and Power Cluster 3 Health, and Pharmaceuticals Cluster 4 Food and Nutrition Cluster 5 Instrumentation and Control I am at Cluster 5 to judge the three projects, this is last August 31, 2016.     The effectiveness of using a single or multiple camera CCTV (Closed-Circuit Television) solutions depends on various factors and the specific security requirements. Single Camera Advantages The main advantage is cost-effective, they are more budget-friendly initially. Managing and maintaining a single camera is straightforward.
